In order to function in the framework of today’s modern law enforcement, it is essential that there be not only pertinent Police Chiefs Associations for various counties but sectional organizations who can properly present their problems and analyze their programs in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.

Our Mission Statement: The Association is a professional organization of chief law enforcement officers from eighteen (18) counties in the central part of the Commonwealth formed to: (1) secure personal and official relationships between chief law enforcement officers in those counties and throughout the Commonwealth, (2) secure unity of action in law enforcement matters, (3) elevate the standards of policing by means of sponsoring education and training programs, (4) promote the use of humane efforts in the enforcement of the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and (5) otherwise promote crime prevention and advance highway safety.
