VIGR Low Light Instructor March 17 – 19, 2026
NEW FOR 2026 – Low Light Instructor will prepare Officers to design, implement and conduct a modern, LE-focused, low light training program. The course is focused on provided real skills to the Instructors that are directly relevant to law enforcement work and not simply distilled or adapted from other applications. The course is split 75/25 between the duty handgun and patrol rifle. The following topics will be covered in detail. History of low light tactics, technology, hand-held flashlight use, HWML use, performance shooting, movement in low light, use of cover, RWML use, 80/20 training split, COF development, range set-up, safety considerations, documentation & reporting, case law, program management and instructor methodology.
